All of the butchers at webster’s gourmet meat kitchen are fully qualified. Each butcher is selected and trained by Duncan as to how the meat is to be prepared, cut and packaged. This is to ensure that our customers receive consistent and only the highest level of service.
 

Owner and Master Butcher

Duncan Webster

The owner and Master Butcher of the business, Duncan got his first taste for butchering while jackarooing in Walgett, North West NSW.  After completing his butchery apprenticeship, Duncan travelled extensively throughout Africa before accepting a position of Restaurant Butcher at Simpson’s on the Strand, London.  After 3 years in London, Duncan headed back to Sydney with the intention of buying his own business.  Duncan has grown the business into a destination butchery through his passion for quality of product and innovative ideas with fresh meat.  Duncan is regarded as being at the forefront of modern butchery.  He strives to find the perfect work/home balance and loves to ride motorbikes and hike through the bush.  Duncan loves culinary experiences and trying to replicate dishes at home.  His newest passion is surfing.  Best thing to happen to Duncan since establishing his business is his two gorgeous kids.

Administration and Marketing

Sarah Adamo-Webster

A reformed vegetarian, Sarah now mainly works behind the scenes in the business.  Managing the administration and marketing aspects of the business, Sarah also loves interacting with customers.  Sarah studied Business Management and Communications, has over 20 years experience in the corporate world and is also a Primary Education Teacher.  Sarah loves cook books, eating and entertaining.  Sarah has a deep passion for all things educational and is inspired in educating her own children about food production.

Store Manager

George Moujalli

George is the Store Manager who works side by side with Duncan.  He brings over twenty years of butchery experience and is a brilliant multi-tasker.  There is nothing George cannot do.  You can often find George testing out a new idea or recipe and he is always ready with a joke or story to brighten any day.  George is as fantastic with customers as he is with his knife skills.  George loves going to the beach, fishing, gardening and hanging with his kids.

Senior Butcher

Rob Johnston

Rob is the Senior Butcher of the business.  Rob brings over 35 years of butchering experience and is great at understanding what our customers want.  With his wonderfully warm sense of humour and happy to help attitude, Rob ensures that customers leave the store with a smile on their face.  Rob loves gardening (and beer gardening) and spending time with his family and friends.

Chief Sausage Maker

Michael Johnson

Michael is Chief Sausage Maker and small goods producer. With his English heritage he brings some traditional skills to sausage making. Michael enjoys watching all types of sport and spending time with family and friends.

Chef

Thitiporn (Tukki) Phromsaro

Tukki is a trained chef who manages our poultry section and our busy kitchen where she cooks the pies and prepares our pastry lines. Tukki has just recently completed her apprenticeship in Butchery. She is an invaluable part of the team whose organisational skills are exemplary. Tukki’s passions are food, shopping, spending time with friends and reading.

Wholesaling Distribution

Jittima (Pooky) Ruengdach

Pooky is a pivotal team member who manages our wholesaling distribution lines. She produces our value-added products and assists with the pie making. Pooky is a wonderful team member who is passionate about what she creates in our kitchen. She loves to read books, spending time with her young children and being creative.
